Riek's POV

I smirk again, making Ulf all confused, she doesn't know what to say or do.

"Let him in, I want to see him."

"Yes ma'am," she nods submissively. She turns without looking at me and exits the living room. "Wait!" I shout at her before she exits the door, I wouldn't afford to stand up as I'm weak and longing to rest for as long as I can.

She shrieks in horror. I wonder why I don't get to treat people as they deserve, they are good yet I treat them the same way I treat others. One reason behind this is because I've realized that if you are too kind with your subordinates, they get familiar with you and that respect is no longer there. This is the last thing I want from a maid or servant. I've had many experiences before and I don't want it to happen again.
