Lilith POV

I stiffened as soon as I heard that voice in my head. It was the same as that day when I was leaving the Alphas room, the one that had whispered mates.

Now, it whispered one word.

I blinked in confusion, trying to wrap my head around it. Did I hear wrong? Or was I hallucinating? I wasn’t sure but I didn’t have time to dwell on it, because in the next second, my eyes went wide.
