Chapter 18. Thank You

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling the sun’s warmth against my skin and the softness of the sheets beneath me. I stretched my arms and legs, relishing the comfort of the large bed.
As I peeked out of my window, I saw the sun shining brightly and heard the birds chirping.
My head was banging; I was having a terrible hangover. My mind drifted off to yesterday, and my eyes went wide open. I looked around and realized I was in my room and wearing different clothes than I had yesterday. Did Damon change my clothes? I tried hard to remember the incidents of yesterday, but it was difficult to remember anything.
My head was banging; I needed to take some hangover soup. Immediately there was a knock on the door, and I dragged myself lazily to open the door, and Whitney entered with a cup in her hands.
