“Stop staring,” I said to Damon, feeling a little shy. And he quickly apologized, turning away. Was he just admiring my body? Well, it was not like I cared, though. He was free to admire all he wanted, but he'd be dreaming if he thought he could touch this body.
He went ahead to pull out the floaters, placing them properly in their waists. On the other hand, I went ahead to look for a nice spot to settle down. I couldn’t swim, so I'd rather just settle down and watch them.
I covered my eyes with a blindfold and went ahead to relax on the stretcher. I slept on my back and stretched out my legs to receive the cool early morning breeze.
