Two days ago, after the brief kiss with Roxanne, I had a hard time keeping my feelings in check. I previously wanted to just keep things on the low and take things slowly.

I decided to give her the necessary space to heal last month. I knew she was going through a rough time—Kylian's betrayal, finding out so many things, the big change, and all—and it was necessary for me to give her that space if I wanted things to ever happen between us again.

I buried myself in work and I am now obviously stronger than before, thanks to my father and the role I’ve played. I was anticipating this year’s full moon too.

Over time, I noticed she was now cheerful, less moody, and more easygoing, so Roy, my wolf, decided it was time to actively start chasing her again.

It seemed we we
