Chapter 32. Sinful Kiss

I closed my eyes, trying to catch my breath.

“You can’t behave like this, Master Ralph. This isn’t appropriate. You are already married.”

Master Ralph stopped. He released my wrists from his tight grip with a baffled look on his face. I could tell he still had feelings for me, just like I had for him. I shook my head gently, knowing it was already too late for the both of us. He was already the husband of the most famous lady in the Kingdom, and I was the mate of his best friend, the Alpha of the Pack. Only I felt more like a wooden doll in this place, stiff and scared. Funny that I left the duty of cleaning, cooking, and serving at Rutherford Manor just to become a bed slave to the Alpha. I was still bound by an invisible chain. Only it was made of gold and diamonds.

But chains are still chains, no matter what they are made of. And this cage was just a little more spacious than the Rutherford Mansion.

“I apologize, Claire. I was just so overwhelmed with my
