Chapter 64. Fergus

While I was contemplating so deeply, with different scenarios in my head, a gasp escaped from my lips when someone suddenly grabbed me from behind. The stranger’s hands quickly covered my mouth before I could even let out a scream. Gram, on the other hand, was alarmed and started whining loudly. Frightened. 

He swished his tail in panic and started to snort loudly and breathe heavily while I gave all my strength to get out of the man’s arms around my shoulders and on my face. My heart started beating so hard against my chest as fear consumed me, reminding me of the time—the night that I was abducted from the pack manor.

My cries were muffled by his wide hand, pressed violently against my face. I tried to open my mouth wide in a poor attempt to bite his hand but he was just too strong. I couldn’t breathe with my heart and mind panicking at the same time. My eyes were so wide when Gram suddenly galloped away, almost dragging both of us
