Gavin's POV

Mia would giggle if she was in such a position, Emma herself is a soldier, she has lectured in the military academy before focusing on gifting external wars. Most of the senior cadets know her, I would say all but because of her makeup, some might not know her, except when her name is mentioned.

I have a lot to do as of today, from here I'm moving to the nursing college where I will do some assessment, and then I will retire for a few hours' nap. By then it shouldn't be too late, I would go get some work done in my office. The official dismissal time is 5 PM, but those who came in the morning go by 2 PM, and then another set comes in for the afternoon shift, for the part-timers who go for other jobs in the morning.

"Thanks so much for honoring me today, I was thinking that you would take Mia with you."

"No, I promised you, so I'm keeping that promise!"
