Claire's POV

I wasn't sure what to do as I looked into his eyes. "Yes, you do have a point. Lunas shouldn't be scared or look weak, but it's also the Alpha's job, mine, to protect you as my Luna."

"I get it, but as Luna, it's my job to keep our people safe." I stood firm and refused to budge because we both knew I was correct.
