Eleanor POV

My heart raced as I heard Killian knocking on my bedroom door.

The fear that I had that he would still be angry with me was one that I wasn’t going to deny. I wouldn’t be able to if I tried. 

I got up from bed just as he opened the door, clearly knowing that I wasn’t planning on answering. My chest ached and my heart raced as I found myself thinking of how things were between me and Elton. I couldn’t help it, but the fact that I was comparing the two of them was not something that I could deny.
