I walked inside the basement to find Daria’s eyes wide in surprise at the sight of her ‘friend’.

Her heart raced, and I raised an eyebrow before glaring at Torino. His eyes avoided mine, not that he had another choice, I was sure to crack his neck to the point where he would be paralyzed if I ever let him live. I wasn’t going to, but that didn’t mean that I had to give him an easy death. 

“I take it that you know now how much my mate means to me.” I said, glaring daggers at the woman. Daria gulped, and I rolled my eyes before snapping Torino’s neck. Daria screamed before looking at me and shaking her head. “And I think that you know that you are next.”

“I came here to get help…”

“You should have thought of that before dragging my mate into this.” I said, grabbing the dagger that she gave me. Never did I think that I would be using it on her. However, it seemed to me that time had its surprises to us all.
