Killian froze for a second before sitting up, still inside me, and he looked me in the eye. 

The safety that I felt and the comfort that he was ensuring that I went through was one that I was never going to forget. And the way that he looked at me told me that he was making sure that I was with him, body and soul, he wanted me connected with him.
