Chapter 83
ELEANOR
I watched as Natasha walked out of the kitchen the second that I walked inside.
Thankfully, the two of us came up with the silent rule and agreement of not wanting to be by one another’s side no matter the cost. And that was something that prevented more problems from occurring between us.
“Luna Eleanor, to what do we owe the honor?” Liana asked, smiling at me. The fact that she was calling me Luna was something that embarrassed me. Though I knew that I technically was the pack’s Luna, I respected the fact that she was not only older than I was, but was here long before even I was born.
“The girls have been informed of my arrival, Liana, you don’t need to worry.” I said, not wanting to engage her much.
I knew that as her mother, and I didn’t expect any less, that Liana would be siding with her daughter. And though I understood her reason, I still didn’t find myself wanting to associate with anything that was close to being a part of them.
