Killian POV

“What do you mean that they never left the city? If they are here, then how is it possible that they have left no trace of themselves?” I asked, banging my office table. It was the one place that I have been staying in lately. 

The whole house felt tight on me, and I barely even considered entering my bedroom unless I walked out of it after changing and after Vladimir took me to it the night before, when I was knocked out.

It has been weeks since I have seen or heard of Eleanor, and her pain was one that I was feeling on a near daily basis. And the worst part about it was that despite being her mate, and according to Vladimir, her being close, I couldn’t find any means of tracing or contacting her.
