“I told you not to fucking trust a Bernardi, but no, my son goes on ahead and falls in love with the ONE FUCKING HEIR…”

“Maria, ENOUGH!” Dad yelled, stopping Mom as both entered my office. Both Vladimir and I frowned in confusion as we looked at the two of them, and Mom threw what looked like a newspaper at me. I frowned at the fact that whatever she was showing me would be in a newspaper to begin with, but nevertheless, I looked down at the article, reading through.

“Your little Luna, the fucking bitch that you marked and chose to bring between us is going to be getting married to Elton Bernardi.” She said, just as I reached the article that said it. I frowned, not responding, as I read the news three times, trying to allow myself to digest what was written.

“That is impossible…”
