Chapter 30. Freed by the Alpha King
Talitha’s POV
My heart was my writing scroll and I have written and still writing lamentations filled with stories of my afflictions and pain as a backbone in my journey.
Once again I’m sent into this unholy pit to cry, starve, and if death comes knocking welcome it with wide-open arms.
After putting my revenge aside to save his life by putting my knowledge to use my appreciation is getting me thrown into this hell. Why did I think they would see the good in me? They’re wolves after all they think they’re better and they could trample on me as they wish.
I fell asleep and the body which was housing wasn’t a safe haven when the soul was tired. I need something to knock me off this feeling of pain and maltreatment even for a second and sleep was a better alternative than death.
A lackluster palm grazed my shoulder and with its toughness, I opened my eyes to see two guards in the dungeon.
“The Alpha king demands your presence at his chambers.”
