Chapter 35. Help from Priestess
Queen Galina’s POV
“Come in, my queen.” She parts to the side to make room as I walk into the room, my gaze drinking up every detail of her abode. The walls were cracked, a long line running, slantly at every edge and the furniture wasn’t as exquisite, but I could manage.
My nose picked up the smell of herbs and burning potions with strange-looking things hanging at the corners of the wall.
“It’s been a while since we met in person.” The healer said with a light chuckle as I took my seat on the old wooden stool, patiently waiting as she struggled with her stick to shut the rickety door and turned, coming over to where I was seated.
“Queen Galina only visits when she needs my help, am I wrong?” She smirked and sat opposite me on a different stool, her hands stirring the potion mixed attentively with a few lines of her age wrinkles visible on her cheeks.
I swallow with thoughts of things to say. Yeah, right, the only reason I’m here is that I’m in trouble
