Chapter 37. The Morning After

Talitha’s POV

My head bangs heavily as I manage to squint my eyes open and the first person that blesses my gaze was Amari smiling down at me with a soft tenderness.

“How long have I been asleep?” I managed to say in a croaked whisper trying to sit up but the pain hitting my thighs says otherwise so I relax.

“Half a day dear and how do you feel?” Amari says handing me a cup of one of those her black bitter herbal drinks and I wrinkled my nostril in disgust.

“Drink up Talitha the Alpha would want you to.” she urged.

My cheeks burnt hot and my womanly folds throbbed with pain and excitement at the mention of the Alpha everything he did at the harem playing through my head.

“The Alpha was here all night he left at the break of dusk he cares for you.” She adds as she successfully pulled the cup into my palms while helping me to sit up to sip the drink slowly.

Care? Never! Amari has no idea how much the Alpha would see me six feet on the ground.
