Celeste’s POV
Julian had been a huge comfort to me at that moment. He had cuddled me as long as I needed to feel a warm embrace, and then took me to dinner.
He took me to our favourite place to eat, an American style retro Diner. We’d had our first date here, and frequented it regularly when we were together.
Satisfaction filled me, I just felt like I was back in the days before everything got messed up between Julian and I. Before Amara had interfered and ruined our relationship. Sitting opposite me, I watched Julian as he studied the menu. I laughed to myself, knowing he would order the same thing he always did. Pizza dog with a side of onion rings and a vanilla shake, but he still perused the menu regardless. I studied Julian, and my chest ached. He was so incredibly handsome.
