Celeste’s POV

I woke up, shivering cold as I felt my body against the rough, freezing surface beneath me. Of course, it was all coming back to me. I was tossed into the basement and left for dead it seemed. A strange scent filled my nose, it was foul and I tried to stop myself from vomiting.

“We need to stay calm my love,’ Winter said in my mind.
