Chapter 51. You’re Awake

Celeste’s POV

I felt the sickness rise within me as the sound of Evelyn’s hissing insipid voice came from Amara’s body. She really would stop at nothing to torture me and now she had taken to the apparent possession of my best friend.

“We killed you!” I exclaimed as the memory of Evelyn’s foul demonic form returned back into my memory. I hadn’t known exactly how long I had been in a comatose state exactly, but the events of that night still remain fresh in my mind. I could still remember the scent of burning flesh from that very evening. These were memories I hoped I would forget in a hurry
