Chapter 54. The Wisdom of Fenris

Liam’s POV

My mind was a whirlwind of confusion, Celeste had left me with a lot of revelation of her past. I appreciated her opening up to me, it made me feel honoured that she could feel so comfortable around me. But it also left me with so many questions, not for Celeste, but for myself.

I concentrated on the fact poor Celeste had been rejected from her pack at such a young age and hadn’t joined another pack since then, basically going rogue.

And while these thoughts of her status were not negative, I felt like I needed to help her and find a way for her to feel as though she belonged somewhere. It was the least I could do.
