Chapter 157

A small knock on the door interrupted Haven’s sobs. She was laying face first on the soft bed, crying her heart out. She felt completely broken, her trust was shattered. She had never thought, even in her wildest dreams that Lucious would ever do such a thing to her. Why did he have to do this to her? She had trusted him completely but he just ended up breaking her instead.

She couldn’t even remember anything that happened last night. Only Selene knew what horrible things he did to make her forget what had happened. That man must have done something otherwise why hadn’t she even a single memory?

Another knock on the door snapped Haven out of her thoughts and forced her to raise her head a bit. Then came a third knock followed by a voice. “ Luna, may I come in?”

Haven’s eyes which had become red now due to all the crying travelled towards the door. She recognized the voice even before the woman opened the door. What was she doing here by this time?
