Chapter 118

The horrible stench of melted flesh hit his nose harshly as soon as Lucious eyes landed on the figure laying on the ground before him, forcing him to scrunch his nose in disgust.

“ How the fuck is this possible?” He frowned his brows, eyes still staring at the melted rubber– like looking substance. It really was the skin of a shifter.

The upper part of the gooey substance which Lucious thought to be the head was already disfigured so badly that the face couldn’t be recognized. But what caught Lucious’ attention the most was the orange like strands of hair, sticking out of the head, some part of it had melted to the ground and dried off.

Raphael too seemed to have noticed it as he took a quick glance at the Alpha before turning his attention back to the shifter.

Something didn’t feel right and they both knew.

“ It really is a shifter” Raphael frowned a little, gasps of shock and horror coming from the crowd behind him along with the worried murmurs.
