Chapter 260

The werewolves ran across the desert of no return with full speed, heading for the camp set at the border of the village of angels. Their growls and thundering of the earth beneath was enough to announce their arrival.

At the front of the thousands of wolves was a single grey wolf. He led the army as they approached the border and shifted into his human form without warning causing the wolves behind him to skid to a stop. He then approached Greg and his men, both parties leaving a few meters between them.

Haven hid behind Aeon who blocked her from seeing what was going on. She still heard a bit of the heated argument though and most of it was about her.

“A mate? Are you kidding me?” The leader burst into laughter “Who on earth told you the Alpha had a mate?”

Greg was confused “What nonsense are you spewing, Lyrus? If he isn’t looking for his mate, then why such an absurd demand?”

Lyrus frowned. “The Alpha doesn’t have a mate”
