Mia POV

Kate fumed and yelled at them.

“Don’t you have chores to get to? Seeing you lazing around here, I guess you want me to help you do them” she placed her hands on her hips, glaring at the girls.

Their heads hung low, scared what punishment their actions could lead to.

“How about I report you to Alpha Lukas?” she threatened.

They desperately pleaded, shaking their heads vehemently.

“We’re sorry”

“It’s alright. You can go” I said.

They skittered off, thanking me.

“Don’t let their words get to you. They are just girls who don’t know what to do with their time”

I forced a smile.

“I’m not bothered” I lied.

“Come. Let me show you something” I tilted my head, curious.
