“Sure. I’ll be right there.”
I ended the call and smiled to myself.
“You are right, André. I am about to end this.”
I slid my phone back into my pocket and headed to the main room. Five of my men stood there, waiting for me.
They all stood at attention and as walked in, they didn’t even dare move.
“André thinks he can change the tide of the battle,” I said, angrily, through my teeth. “Well, he is wrong. I will come out on top.”
The room was deathly silent but it was soon broken by the shuffling of feet.
I whipped my head around and the sound stopped. My men were holding their breath and sweating profusely.
I was fuming but I decided to let this insolence pass.
“We need to up our attack. You!–”
I pointed to one of the men and he gasped in shock but didn’t utter a word.
“–I need you to guide the left flank and take them on the alternate route through the forest.”
