Chapter 36. Saved At Last
Jared paced about, his knuckles tightened into fists as he growled, his eyes thinning into slits as he peered through the window of the room Riyadh was kept inside. He shook his head, impatience swelling his blood up. They should be here already. He glanced at the girl beside him, seated calmly on the chair – though bound hands and feet – as if she was on a throne and wondered if he had been too arrogant and made a mistake assuming she was precious to the pack.
No, he shook his head. She was the mate of the beta, and that certainly had to mean something. He hissed as he remembered that the alpha was mated to the beta’s sister. His eyes reddened with rage as he chuckled, his bitterness and rage oozing out of his skin to choke those who were near him except Riyadh.
