Chapter 121
Keenan’s POV
I had seen firsthand just how much Lord Tibet cared for his daughter. Contrary to what Lord Christopher thought Tibet I was of the opinion that Tibet cared more for his daughter than for his money and if he could up all his wealth in exchange for his daughter, he would. The man had taken one look at his daughter’s ‘corpse’ and had fainted.
I needed to talk to Thallus alone. If Lord Tibet ever recovered from his state it was necessary that the man know what had happened to his daughter. I was positive this would stoke his anger against Lord Christopher.
When I and Thallus were alone as he wanted to take a nap being tired out by the day’s events, I said to him, “There is something I am yet to tell you.”
“Oh?” Thallus stopped walking and looked me in the eye, he had his eyebrow raised.
