Mirabelle’s POV

I haven’t skipped school in a week, I’ve been going nonstop and usually I skip school two times a week because Adrian is usually occupied but these days he drops us on time and picks us on time.

Today, I had a math test today and I think I failed again. The nice girl who sits next to me didn’t come. I don’t even know her name. Everyone calls her the gargoyle or four eyes, which I don’t feel comfortable addressing her as.

I asked Mrs. Vanderbilt how we could have a test when our classmate was upset, I was sounding concerned but really I would do anything just to get out of the test but Mrs. Vanderbilt said she wasn’t coming and even if she missed one test it wouldn’t affect her grades or her performance on her final exams and that she appreciates my concern for someone that isn’t my ‘groupie’ I was offended and after knowing full well I failed her test.
