Mirabelle’s POV

As expected, Adrian came to check on me in my room and I called Mom beforehand to help me with persuading Adrian and she did, he said I can go but I must be in my room by 9pm which I obviously am not since it’s past nine. I told him I would leave him an address and I did. I swear, it’s just not the address he would like, and besides who wants her big brother to crash a party and be the girl that ruined the party.

I throw my head back laughing at the joke that isn’t so funny but the joker is so I laugh like my life depends on it. “You’re cute.” I giggle once more, tucking my hair behind my ear.
