It was a fortunate turn of events that he was able to transform back into human form from that enormous white wolf before Amelia had the chance to see him in that shape. And because Alpha Rofus did not yet know her well enough, he did not feel it was appropriate to reveal his true form to her at this time. On the other hand, he had a sneaking hunch that she was a member of the human species and not of their kind, which he predicated on the fact that her face showed clear signs of innocence as a human.

“Rofus, what exactly are you up to? Why are you making her feel so scared, unsafe, and frightened? That is not likely to happen to her!” Jack’s wolf was a nervous wreck once he got inside him. He attempted to change and shift once again while simultaneously leaping at his body, but did not succeed as Alpha Rofus prevented him.
