Chapter 38. First Breakfast
Amelia’s POV
I just came back to our house the following week. To be precise, it was Saturday morning. I felt homesick as I gazed at our tiny house. The desire that had been hidden deep inside of me suddenly surfaced. Perhaps because I was preoccupied with living my own life while enjoying my freedom, I was unaware of that when I was in Nikita’s apartment. Now that I am outside of it, I can sense it. In my opinion, not much has changed.
“Amelia?”
The sound of my mother’s voice caused me to back off a step. She helped me return to the present. She just came out of the house. They had woken only moments ago, even though it was late.
What a surprise!
Without a doubt, they are leading happy lives. In the past, she tried to get up early in order to accomplish a lot of things, mainly housework.
