Adrianna’s POV

My step halted as I stared at the hallway that led to the Alpha’s room, and all the courage I had to move forward and talk to him drained away.

“I don’t think I can do this, Bianca,” I said as I tried to turn, but she held my hand, stopping me from taking another step.

“Adrianna, please,” she pleaded, her hand rubbing circles around my palm.

I drew in a sharp breath, trying to calm the raging storm brewing within my chest. “You promised, it’s just a few feet away. Please, you can leave after seeing him,” she said.
