Adrianna’s POV

His fur melted away, bones snapped and realigned as the wolf folded into a man.

I took a step back, staring into his eyes. I opened my mouth to speak, but he closed the distance between us, his hand at the back of my head as his lips captured mine into a gentle kiss.

My body trembled slightly as I raised my hand slowly until it settled on his bare waist. Then he pulled away, “Damn, I miss you, Anna. I miss you so much I thought I’d die never seeing you,” he said, looking into the depth of my eyes.

I blinked, still stunned at his instant transformation.

“You don’t know how much I love you, huh…? and I’m sorry,” he whispered as he moved closer. He was about to kiss me again when someone cleared their throat.
