A strange sensation pulsed through my veins, unlike anything I had ever felt before. It wasn’t just a tingle or a shiver, it was something deeper, something alive.

A slow warmth spread beneath my skin, wrapping around my bones like liquid fire, humming softly as though it had always been there, waiting for the right moment to awaken. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it wasn’t familiar either. It was… different.
