Bella’s POV

"Is the test result out?" I asked the Doctor who stood beside me without saying a word. It was like he was waiting for me to be done eating first.

He looked at Alpha Franklin and lowered his head again. "You should finish eating first, Doctor Bella, My report can wait." He responded.

I stared at him for a while and shrugged. "Whatever suits you," I replied and continued eating.

I knew it was Alpha Franklin that stopped him from talking so I could eat first but that was surely their problem, not mine. Reading the result wouldn't stop me from eating, All I needed was to place the result on the table and go through it.
