Bella’s POV

Kaden cried for a while, the room was quiet except for his pleading that resonated all through the room.

Devon picked him up and hugged him, giving me the chance to gather my thoughts. I couldn’t afford to cry in front of my kid.

The two hugged each other and when he was done eating, Devon sat down and placed Kaden in bed with me.

He took my hand in his and kissed it gently “I’m so happy that you are fine, Mum,” He sincerely said and I smiled sweetly.

“Mum is very happy to see you too,” I replied.
