Bella’s POV

I suddenly felt lightheaded and before I knew it, I lost consciousness. I had no idea how many hours it took but I soon opened my eyes and right in front of me was the face of the man I dreamt about.

He was sleeping soundly beside me and his face was smiling, hiding his sadness away from the outside world but after knowing him for so long, I could tell he wasn’t happy even though he was smiling at that moment.

I rested my head on my hands as I stared at him, studying his handsome face and reminiscing about the good old days. Devon was my first love, the very first man I ever loved and someone I would continue loving even though I hated him so much at that moment.

I knew without being told that I could never fall in love with anyone else apart from him but I was ready to never let him know that either. W
