Chapter 33. Kill Devon?

Bella’s POV

I looked at my hand which was held warmly by Devon and my mind relaxed a little. I was able to think more properly and I became better. “Thanks.” The word slipped out of my mouth before I could even decide what to do and Devon nodded.

“I’m not taking Kaden away from you. I will never take him away from you and whatever you want for him shall be final. All I want is to be part of his life. Even if I can’t stay with him and he can’t stay with me, I want him to know that I’m his father and I care about him a lot. You don’t have to be scared of me taking him away because I would never do that.” He explained, his eyes firm and decided.

I stared into his eyes, searching for any form of deceit but I found none in his eyes and that made me sigh in relief. I nodded my head as I lowered my eyes “Okay. Later, I will bring him back to the castle
