Kaden snuggled up in Sir Gabriel’s embrace, hugging him so tight as if he was scared of someone breaking them up.

I looked at him and couldn’t help but wonder how Sir Gabriel won his heart so quickly. O could remember how hard it was for his teachers to even get him to like them and how hard it was for him to allow some friends into his life in school, so how come he fell so deep in love with his grandfather so soon?
