“Are you sure?” Ariana seemed relieved as she bent down in front of me and asked worriedly.

“Yes. He won’t do anything to hurt me. He might just send me away but that would be after I’m done treating his father.” I replied and she let out a deep breath.

“That’s better then.” She mumbled and sat back in bed. “Have you eaten?” She asked and I shook my head.

“I lost my appetite,” I replied truthfully.

“Well... You can’t. You shouldn’t lose your appetite when you are carrying a child. The child needs something to feed on when it’s still inside you.” She said teasingly as she stood up. “I will go get you something from the kitchen. You should lock the door from the back because I’m certain you don’t want to see Alpha Devon right now.” She suggested and I agreed with her.
