Chapter 98. My Baby...

Bella’s POV

“The lady is over there,” I heard the familiar voice of the Beta outside the garden and a small frown formed on my face.

My heart raced, I suddenly felt a wave of panic sprouting from the depth of my belly. Different questions rushed through my mind and I wondered what would be my fate if he found out I was a spy.

My baby...

That was my biggest fear. What would happen to my child if I was caught here? Would he let me go for the sake of the child?

Asking these questions inwardly made me want to laugh out loud. How could someone heartless enough to kill his biological father have any sympathy toward another man’s child? It was simply impossible and knowing that refuelled my confidence. It made me realize that I was already in the Lion’s den and I either survived or died.
