Ivy burst into tears the moment I crossed the threshold. Her confession confirmed my worst fears. Whoever had tried to kill her wasn’t from our pack—I was certain of that—but there were still unanswered questions about Rowan’s death and the witch responsible for it. Could that same witch have come after Ivy? Or perhaps the Alpha of Ivy’s former pack had tracked her here.
