Draven’s POV
Thea burst into tears the moment I crossed the threshold. Her confession confirmed my worst fears. Whoever had tried to kill her wasn’t from our pack—I was certain of that—but there were still unanswered questions about Rowan’s death and the witch responsible for it. Could that same witch have come after Thea? Or perhaps the Alpha of Thea’s former pack had tracked her here.
“Draven, I know someone doesn’t want me to help you break the curse,” she blurted, her voice trembling and her brows knitting together in distress. What did she mean by that?
