Chapter 29
If Arnav had not warned her before, she would have looked at him for help. But he had already told her to not look at him for any answers if the King asks her something. It would only make her look weak and confused. And a king would never accept a Luna who couldn't even talk by herself.
She mustered the courage to speak. Till now, she had just been pathetically saying 'Yes' or 'no' for everything that the King was asking her. But now she had to frame a proper sentence.
"I am sorry, King! But, I did not specifically....brought anything for.....you or the queen. I am really....sorry." She apologized and looked at the bowl in front of her.
"You mean you don't have anything to give us? I mean, this is the first time that you are meeting your superiors! Haven't you been considerate about this fact?" He asked, chuckling.
Aadhira decided to kill Arnav if she somehow manages to come out of this alive.
