Jojo still seemed to process everything I had just said. I could not blame her, it was not everyday someone heard that their child was about to be taken from them, and the father they had not seen in what? Eleven years, was a terrorist and rapist who was currently awaiting his death sentence. It was too much to handle. I let her take it all in, while I made a mental note to put measures in place, just to make sure I was ready for my father's arrival. If I knew anything about my father, it was that he would not let the matter on ground wait till tomorrow, and I knew a whole lot about him.

I turned away from Jojo and looked around, searching for my phone. My right hand instinctively touched my back pocket. I slipped my phone from it and dialed Kenji's number.
