Chapter 32
It was time to leave the hospital and go back home but before that happened I wanted to talk to Mr. Rogers first and now here we are sitting across from each other on the hospital bed.
I reached under the pillow and handed the letter to him, he looked at me then at it. I didn’t pressure him and allowed him to take his time in reading through it.
Mr. Rogers looked up at me. “Do you want to file a lawsuit against them?” he asked and I shook my head in a no gesture.
“I want my job back, stable and not threatened but I also want proof of Becca’s bribe to the company,” I added and he nodded in understanding before looking at me.
“But why do you need the proof?” he asked and I smiled.
“If I can hold something against these people, then I can secure my place in the firm and Rebecca, I’m so done with her games.”
