Chapter 19. See You Again

Emerald didn't know how to respond to Alaric, so she let it be. Besides, Iris had already informed her boyfriend, and she couldn't back out now.

When school hours ended, they both went out. As soon as they reached the gate, they spotted a black Mercedes Benz parked in front. Emerald and Iris exchanged glances.

Emerald didn't need to ask how expensive the car was; she knew. Meanwhile, for Iris, it seemed normal to see such an expensive vehicle.

Soon, a man got out of the car. Iris grabbed Emerald's arm and pulled her towards the man, clearly excited.

"Babe, this is my best friend Emerald Greene. She's also the co-teacher I mentioned," Iris introduced Emerald to her boyfriend.
