Chapter 29. Impress Alaric

Emerald's face flushed bright red as she grabbed onto Alaric's shirt, her fingers wrinkling the fabric.

"Aren't you hungry? I'll… I'll cook first, then we can—" she stammered.

When she looked up, she caught Alaric's gaze lingering on her body—particularly on her chest that was peeking out from her unbuttoned blouse.

"I'm hungry, Teacher Greene…" Alaric muttered hoarsely, his voice thick with lust and desire. "Will you let me… eat…?"

She couldn't make out his last words because she was too lost in the moment. His kisses were intoxicating, like drowning in a sea of emotions. Even though they'd already been through so much, she still felt dizzy. When she didn't respond, Alaric gently pulled her closer again and kissed the spot below her ear. He let out a soft curse as he took in the fragrant scent of her skin.

"Or maybe we can continue this after we eat?" Alaric's voice was soft as his lips brushed against Emerald's ear, making her murmur in response.
