Chapter 92. Life's Disappointments

The door was opened and the doors went in and the switch was turned on and light flooded blindingly everywhere but there was no sign of the people being searched for but there were several things to indicate that they had been there.

There were used and disposed clothes, crumbs from good particles and some other such things.

Sharon was disappointed. More so than she hated to admit but how had they been in the house for sometime without them knowing about it? The answer lay in one tablet they saw on the floor. She had been drugging Deborah to keep her from being alert enough to cry.

Sharon started sobbing because such drugs could be detrimental to a child's health. She could be giving her more than the doze for a child

 And keeping a child perpetually drug so that she won't cry out was dangerous according to what Sharon could deduce.

Bryan was helpless. He was filled with fury.
